my last night with 2 parts of my anatomy

less than 12 hours until i will have no more tonsils or adenoids. wow. they've been in my body for so long that it is weird to think that they will be gone. hopefully they will take all of my frequent illnesses with them. while i don't like the thought of surgery, i think that the outcome will be worth it. i'm less nervous about the surgery itself than i am about the anesthesia. i've heard that it is not uncommon to have a bad, spewy reaction when coming out of it. i certainly hope that i do not have that problem. i'm all stocked up on gatorade and popsicles, so i should be ready for my return home tomorrow. tick tock tick tock...
