let the workouts begin!

so, i decided to join curves (the women only gym) on friday of last week. i did my first workout and thought that it was a cool concept. i went back in today because i was soooooo tired, and i needed to get out of the house. the people there are very supportive and fun to talk to (not just the people that work there). there are all kinds of people there. it is very cool. they recommend to go 3 times a week. i think that i can commit to that. :)

more suckage

so, since i have been working on finding clothes to donate, i have also been doing laundry. with laundry comes folding it. i have folded 2 big laundry baskets full of stuff, so now my hand is absolutely killing me. goddammit.

finally

so, yesterday i got my unlock code for my smartphone. now, i can use it on t-mobile. all is well with that. so, yesterday i was going through old clothes and such to find stuff to donate when all of a sudden the ceiling fan broke and threw a fan blade which almost hit me. scared the crap out of me. i called the apartment building office to get it fixed. they were supposed to send somebody over this morning, but it is 1 pm and i haven't seen anybody yet. i really hate being sick. it sucks. i am watching harry potter, so it is ok. i guess that's about it.

last weekend

adam and i drove out to port angeles to see one of my good friends from high school and her husband. it was a pretty cool weekend. i went to an antique store/co-op/giant bunch of stuff. i had never been to anything like that, but i managed to find a neato pair of earrings and a ring for a killer price. rock on. later that day, tamara's husband, keith, cooked an awesome dinner. we spent the next morning/early afternoon in port townsend, another cool little town. it was great to see tamara, and i am glad that we live close-ish to each other again. i've missed hanging out with her over the years.

oh yeah, i still don't have my phone unlock code from http://www.unlockitnow.com. according to their website, the service is unvailable. WTF?????

anyway, that is about it. :)

pain

no progress, more pain.

yay!

well, i finished my last class with an A-. i am not terribly upset because that is still a really good grade. i know that grade is going to be higher than some of my classmates. my happy news is that thanks to julie at UOP, i will be graduating in november 2004 instead of january 2005! now THAT is a great birthday present. as it is scheduled, i will be finished 2 days after my 30th birthday!

it still hurts

so, on neurontin 3x a day, it still hurts. enough said.

i hate unlockitnow.com

so, i changed my cell service from at&t to t-mobile as you have read in a previous entry. i wanted to get my cool motorola mpx200 smartphone unlocked so i can use it on t-mobile's network. so, there is a website, www.unlockitnow.com, that has been highly recommended by others wanting to do the same thing. so, i pay $55 to get the unlock code. it says 1-4 days. well, i did it on monday, and it is now thursday and i have yet to receive my unlock code. the crappy thing is that the people that do this are 9 hours ahead of us. goddammit.

continued blah

so, i was going to take neurontin 3x today for the first time, but i figured i should probably wait until adam was in better shape. 2 of us drugged up probably isn't such a great idea. it does hurt more today than it has for the last few days...

adam and the tale of two nostrils

so, adam had his sinus surgery this morning. one of the worst things was having to wake up at 5:30 so we could get there by 6:30. just a few hours (several IV things, lots of blood, and pain meds) later, we left and went to ihop because adam wanted pancakes. not a bad afternoon. took a nap, watched the godfather (which i had never seen), and just hung out basically. i just need to finish up a few school things, and i am done for the day.

March 2, 2004

blah

so, i am taking my neurontin 3 times for the first time today. we will see how crappy i feel later. my hand is killing me as if that is a big shock to anybody.

anger towards t-mobile

so, i got this new t-mobile phone last week. service isn't as good at at&t wireless, but hey, it is a lot less expensive. i got a great amount of minutes, and i got a plan that gives me unlimited data. so, i thought.. yeah, that will work. i logged in to aol IM to play with it. NOW, i found that if i use that through the client on my phone, i am charged for every thing i do there. this includes sending, receiving, and even getting my buddy list. each of these things are billed as a text message. sure, my unlimited internet plan comes with 300 text messages included, but DAMN that is ridiculous. so, i decided that i would log in and try aol IM through their t-zones service (which i supposedly have included in my internet plan). when i did that, i could put in my username, but there was nowhere to put in a password. i talked to a guy at their tech support desk. yeah, that was fun and a waste of time. after getting off of the phone, it magically started working (well, more or less). i was able to log in. it is the biggest piece of crap software every written. as a bit of good news, i got the motorola v300 which is cool. that is it though,
