yup, i'm pretty much ready to go. i've cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed most of the apartment. i just need to use the clorox wipes on the bathroom counter and vacuum the bedroom. i need to double check the food and water for the cats in the morning, and we'll be set to go. man, i am going to miss my babies. :(
nails are done for the trip.
eyebrows will be done thursday.
tomorrow i need to drop some crap off at goodwill, do some laundry, and run the dishwasher.
i made dentist appointments and allergist appointments today. i am scared, but i know that i need to do both of those things.
i got the sweet ass flip flops that jodi ordered for me. THEY KICK ASS (as does jodi)! they have lobbies on them! i will be the hit of tyler. :)
i went back through some of the old emails that jodi and i have sent over the last few years. it made me laugh when i remembered some of those events.
OMG, i got the schedule of the crap we need to do on fri/sat. can you say BUSY AS HELL?!? it's gonna be fun though.
today is creighton's b-day, and i chatted with him for a while. that was very cool. i'm very happy for him, and i love him to death. i'm so jealous that they're going to tortola! :D
we're mostly packed now, so lots of the stress is off. it would have sucked to have arrived and been missing an important item like adam's suit or my strapless bra. ;)

adam and i spent most of the weekend hanging out at jay's. he was warned about my throat infection ahead of time. ;)
adam and jay both got tons of work done on their cars, so it was a good weekend for the both of them. i hand washed and waxed my car today. i spent the rest of today and all of yesterday assisting both of them. moving around for hours on end and picking up things, moving things about, and just being active earns a ton of APs. :D
i think the antibiotics are working because i do feel a little bit better. i've taken 6 of 30 doses so far. YAY!
welp, i have another bacterial infection in my throat. i have pus-filled tonsils and antibiotics! the quick strep test came back negative, but with my history they are going to do extra lab crap. so, i have to call back on wednesday after 11 to get the verdict. BLAH!
i think i'll call my ENT after i get the results on wednesday. maybe it is time to get my tonsils removed. :/

omg. so, one of my brothers is getting married in july. that's all fine and dandy. they are getting married in colorado near vail. that is not so fine and dandy. it's very difficult to fly into vail during the off-season (skiing) and VERY expensive. if you want to fly into denver or colorado springs, you're looking at a minimum 2.5 hour drive. they haven't really done much of anything in the way of hotel rooms. the hotel where they are getting married is over $200/night though. so, it would be $400/person for flying into denver, plus $150-200 for a weekend rental car, plus $15/day for parking here, plus $200/night for the hotel, plus my time spent sitting in a car after sitting on a plane after sitting in the airport.
so, i will not be attending that wedding. my dad just called and said that they might be willing to cover the tickets and hotel. we'll see if we are able to make it. the destination wedding makes stuff cost prohibitive, but you never know...
yay! i passed a few new songs today too. the hardest of which is insertion (a 9). so, now i have almost all of the 7s and all of the 5-6 footers done. it was a good ddr day.
it was a bad throat day. my throat started hurting mid-afternoon. much suckage. :(

wow. i have only one more item that is listed on ebay. who knows when/if it will finally sell though. i only have one more thing that has a possibility of being listed, but it needs to have its hook re-sewn on and dry cleaned. maybe i'll do that someday...

ok, so i went to get my nails done. right before i left, i decided to ask when their next haircut appointment was and how much. well, the next appointment happened to be in 5-10 minutes, and it would be $40. an awesome girl named liz cut my hair which i am thrilled with (and i am not all that into haircuts). the highlights in my hair that i was gonna have re-done on tuesday (the $130) now blend in with the cut. soooooooo, i cancelled my highlighting appointment at gene juarez. even after highlights, i still would have needed it to be cut for probably $40-60. YAY!

we went to subway for breakfast. our sandwiches were good, but while we were eating i heard a person order. he ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich (not gross) with the ranch dressing, MAYO, PEPPERCINIS, AND HONEY MUSTARD! nasty!
i just had a few of my final auctions end today. one item went for WAY more than expected (thought $10-15). it actually went for $50! it was really quite cool.
usps tracking also shows that my box of DVDs arrived at tradestop, so i hope they will process that sometime this week. i hope that my replacement oscar shirt arrives today as my old one sold on ebay.
i need to go to goodwill and drop off a few small kitchen electrics so that they will stop clogging up my hallway!

i give up on core again. i'm back to flex. eating out a few times a week kills me on core. i'm going to do my best to stay within my points this week. i was up 2 today, but i think a good part of that was water retention from all of the sodium i had yesterday.
we went to illusionz and played ddr for a bit. it was not a good ddr day for me. oh well, at least i earned some APs.
we're continuing the massive crap purge again. we got rid of a few more movies and some video games. adam also started putting stuff in the cabinets under the entertainment center.
oh yeah, i think i like the show grey's anatomy on abc. :)
i listed the last of the clothes that i could find on ebay. i have one more pair of pants that needs to have a button sewn on tighter. i can't believe how empty my closet is now. i've even resorted to hanging up every shirt that i own except for t-shirts. man, i need to get some cropped pants and/or shorts. i must go to old navy next week!
yeah, it sucks. i'm getting it fixed tomorrow. bleh.
many of the ebay auctions ended. almost everybody has paid, so that is good. i also won an auction for a t-shirt with cookie monster on it. it makes me feel a little better because i listed my oscar the grouch shirt which is way too big.
i did a lot of dishes today, and i found the super thinly sliced chicken at QFC. i am happy about that.

holy crap! the southwest pita at jack in the box rules. it is 5 points, and soooo freaking good. it has chicken, roasted corn, salsa, lettuce, and it is served in a pita.
we had two outstanding ebay payments come in today, so that was good. we're still missing one, but she had sent adam an email saying that she will pay after some of his other auctions (where she is the high bidder) have ended (tomorrow).
overall, it was s sucky day despite the few good things mentioned above.
i love my ring setting. :D i bought some more kernel seasons popcorn seasoning today. yay! i was starting to run low. i also listed a few more things on ebay. i am very sad that i listed my yellow north face jacket. i really love it, though not enough that i want it to fit again though. my boucle jacket that i bought from LB that i never got to wear (was too hot, then too cold, then too big) sold for almost $50. wow! my ebay stuff has paid for my new setting on my ring which is what i wanted.
yesterday was my one year anniversary OP. since i started, i have lost 53.6 lbs, dropped from a women's size 22/24 to a misses 14/16, gained a lot more confidence, a lot more energy, and i am a lot happier.
i know how to do this. i know that i can do it. i just have to accept that some weeks will be like this weekend. my WPA reset on saturday, and i have .5 points left for until the reset on saturday this week (i'm doing core)!
i've never stayed on any weight loss program for this long. this is my time to do it. i know i can. i'm glad to have the support of all of my friends, both old and new, along the way.
tami and i met up and bellevue square yesterday. it was awesome. we had a nummy lunch at the cheesecake factory, wandered around the mall for a few hours, and just got to chill. being the jewelry freak she is, we looked at some semi-mounts for my ring. i found some neat ones. as a matter of fact, i went back and bought one of them today from bailey banks and biddle. check out the pictures here.
we decided that we must get together more often than twice a year. we should go out to port angeles again or meet up in silverdale. it must be a sucky drive for her to come out here, but there are a lot of stores here that she doesn't have out there.

before i got my nails done today, i booked my appointment for my nails for the tuesday before my brother's wedding. i also booked mani/pedi appointments that will be done on the day of jodi's wedding. it should be fun. :)
i had to have adam take a link out of the watchband on my tag. i think that's a good thing. i don't think that my wrists will ever get smaller because they're bony now. :)
tomorrow morning is weigh in. i did so much better this week. i sucked at taking my vitamins, but at least i have been drinking the ww chocolate smoothies. tomorrow will tell how i have been doing with my sodium intake the day before weigh in.
