things have just been freakin' nuts

i've been so busy lately that i just haven't talked to anybody. countless computer issues with both my PC and one of my macs, countless calls and hold times for the california franchise tax board, multiple trips to the leasing office, trips to the car dealership, rescue missions to play doctor to a couple of adam's plants at work after a big crisis, a trip to the vet, extreme pain that i haven't had since the months following my battle with electricity, trips to the maul to run errands in preparation for more errands for my family have resulted in migraines about 5 days a week and little sleep. on top of all of that, i've been just randomly busy and i couldn't even tell you what has kept me so crazy. all i know is that i'm tired. i'm tired in general and i'm tired of having a horrible headache almost 24x7. i know that i suck, but i'm really not a bad friend. i'm just exhausted and the computer is killing my head. :(

i am *SO* done with one of my brothers...

one of my brothers sent out an email to let everybody know what he/his new business has been up to. the business is doing great. i decided to look at the company's website again since i hadn't looked at it since may 2005. i wanted to read the bios of the execs to get a feel from where his partners/whatever came from. well, i saw that his bio included that he received his undergraduate education (with no mention of a bachelor's degree which he does not have) and that he has continued education in an executive education MBA program. well, to get into an MBA program at probably 100% of accredited schools would require a bachelor's degree in any field which he does not have. soooooo, i got interested about that program and visited the well-known, well-respected school's website. i quickly learned that THERE IS NO EXECUTIVE EDUCATION MBA PROGRAM!!!! there are 3 types of MBA programs and then an executive education program through which you can get certificates, but it is not an MBA program. he's got a TON of experience in his industry, he has fantastic achievements with huge, well-known companies, and he is a smart guy, so why in the hell does he need to make shit up? the reason is simple. he is a liar. yes, i've gone slightly crazy because he is my brother, but i find it offensive that he would imply that he is in such a program because of all of the pain, time, and money that it actually takes to complete an MBA program regardless of the school or classroom model. he has no reason to lie, but he chooses to do it anyway. it is sad, it really is. it will be even more sad when his kids finally realize it (and no, i'm not going to say anything to them).

thanks for listening!
