where has my mind gone?!?

so, we've seen a lot of flurries for the last 2 days. today it turned to hail and the snow (which is several inches deep) is now turning to ice. i was on my way to go pick up adam and witnessed several accidents including somebody running into the guardrail on redmond way where it passes over the sammamish river. so, i turned around and went home. adam wound up taking the bus home which was an ordeal as well. wow. i guess i'll be taking the bus to work tomorrow...

yay! i spoke to the hematologist earlier this week. she said that my factor xii levels came back normal. they expect a number between 50-150. mine was 63. so, i was normal but at the low end of normal. yay! everybody always did say that i'm more like my dad. i guess i got that part of my dna from him. hah!

today marks day 7 of my crazy week. it was nice to work all week; however, i think that i'm about to fall over. working 4x your normal schedule in 1 week is not necessarily a good idea. the next few weeks will be a little bit calmer, but i am now going to be adding another shift to my fri/sat work schedule. so, from this week through the 1st week of feb 2007, i will be working 10-6. that kind of puts a wrench into some scheduled training, so that will be worked out soon. i'm working 4 days a week through the week of thanksgiving but then back to 3 during the last week of the month. i hope that we can find the few extra seasonal people that we need so that it will be easier to manage. i still love my job (just in case you were wondering). :)
